By accessing or using the OpenOnion platform and ConnectOnion services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Services.

2. Description of Service

OpenOnion provides an AI agent platform that includes:

  • API access to AI models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google)
  • OAuth integrations for Gmail and Google Calendar
  • Account management and usage tracking
  • Developer tools and SDK (ConnectOnion)

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use our Services. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials (public/private keys) and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our Services to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Transmit malware, spam, or harmful content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Abuse rate limits or engage in excessive API usage
  • Use the service for any illegal or harmful purposes

5. Google OAuth Integration

When you connect your Google account, you grant us permission to access Gmail and Calendar services on your behalf. You can revoke this access at any time. We use Google APIs in compliance with Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. Billing and Payment

Our Services use a pay-as-you-go model based on API usage:

  • You are charged for API calls made through our platform
  • Pricing is based on the underlying AI model providers
  • You must maintain a positive account balance
  • Payment is processed through Stripe
  • All fees are non-refundable unless required by law

7. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or terminate Services for maintenance, updates, or violations of these Terms. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.

8. Intellectual Property

The Services, including all software, designs, and content (excluding user-generated content), are owned by OpenOnion and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content or data you provide to the Services.

9. Data and Privacy

Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect and use data as described in the Privacy Policy to provide and improve our Services.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OPENONION SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Services. Your continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which OpenOnion operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
